Good Morning!
I have been listening to a guided meditation every day for the past 14 days. Sometimes I listen in the morning; sometimes I listen in the evening before bed. This particular guided meditation is by Radleigh Valentine and encourages us to look in a mirror that is given to us by Archangel Michael. We are encouraged to see our Higher Selves in the mirror. We are reminded that we are all diamonds and should shine our light.
Now I've been listening to different guided meditations, meditation music, etc., for quite awhile. Sometimes I use my television and find either a guided meditation or meditation music on YouTube, Spotify, Pandora, etc. Sometimes I use one of my many CDs. Sometimes I use my laptop to stream the guided meditation or music.
These past 14 days I have been using my laptop to listen to the guided meditation. Usually when I turn on my laptop, my dog goes into the bedroom. But, these past 14 days he has actually come to me and wants to sit in my lap while I'm listening to this guided meditation. This morning, he snuggled up closer than ever before and laid his head on my chest. He actually sighed at one point.
My take on these ramblings is that my Higher Self's message has become stronger. My ego's message is becoming less prominent. With all the inner work, shadow work, and energy work I've been doing on my spiritual journey, my Higher Self is becoming my go-to voice for advice. My ego is still with me, but I'm not taking my ego's advice.
I am noticing a shift in my thoughts throughout the day. I'm noticing that I am more grateful throughout the day. I am noticing a calmness and peacefulness when I stop and listen to my Higher Self.
How are you taking time to listen to your Higher Self? Are you listening to your Higher Self? We can change our world for the better. Start where you are and take a few small steps every day. I recommend doing what feels right for you to connect to your Higher Self.
I am reading "Change Your Thoughts--Change Your Life", by Dr. Wayne W. Dyer; "Power Words", by Sharon Anne Klingler; and "Living Buddha, Living Christ", by Thich Nhat Hanh. What are your reading? I'd love to hear from you.
For now, have a wonderfully magical day. Bliss and blessings to you.
Sheila
